Why we serve here:

Many children in the Dominican Republic are stuck in a cycle of poverty.

Problems:

  • Hunger

  • Neglect

  • Abuse

  • Abandonment

  • Lack of Education

  • 40% of Dominicans are below the poverty line.

  • Over 200,000 immigrants have come to the Dominican from poorer countries.

We envision a world where every child learns that they have a hope and a future.

Who We Serve

JOY partners with Kids Alive International, a ministry that provides safe shelter, nutritious meals, medicine, and education through residential homes and care centers. They operate multiple schools and orphanages across the country.
