There has to be another way.

Depression rates are off the charts.
School shootings are common.
Abortion pills sell out.

And yet...

The life hacks do not prevent divorces.

The purchases do not mend relationships.

The achievements do not heal trauma.

The self-care does not free from anxiety.

None of it works.

But we have Good News.

It is not the artificial intelligence.
It is not the fancy job.
It is not the politics.
It is not the sales pitch.
It is not the bank account.
It is not trending probably anywhere.

It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Pure work is to visit orphans in their affliction.

Where your treasure is, your heart will be, too.

JOY

The Justification of Youth

We do three things.

  • We have a passion for breakfast, and we think that Jesus does, too. Sizzling fish on a beach is hard to beat, but eggs are pretty good.

We host a lot of brunches. We send invitations through our newsletter, Surprised by JOY.

  • The amount that we think about ourselves is pretty much insufferable, so have been on a mission to simplify our life and maximize our generosity. It is a better way to live.

Please do not just take our word for it.

  • We looked around our living room and saw a lot of camera gear, a few passports, and stacks of notebooks.

We looked at how we best love people, and it is through hosting, praying, and encouraging.

These are our loaves and fishes.

We keep it simple.
Less of us, and more of Him.

  • We photograph and film.

  • We pray.

  • We lead mission trips

  • We serve.

  • We write.

  • We play.

  • We love.

Surprised by JOY.

Our newsletter is unconventional.

Find out why.
